Marí joined the Immortal in the beginning of its modern period and embraced the opportunity of becoming an author by both screenwriting and directing.

He was so kind, peaceful and well-humoured that two of the most enjoyable productions we ever made were his. He memorably managed crowded casts into playing together for a better experience.
