(1994-1999)

Periodization:

Archaic period (1994-1995)

Summary: The first period is exclusively defined by everybody's boldness and loss of inhibition, through the improvisation and the playing, with slight introduction of costumes and objects. Stories are made with scarce or no previous planning, yet a handful of screenplays are written, of which two are made. There's no post-production process of any kind until the second half of this period, when credit titles are introduced plus a minimal edition is made to delete the outakes.

Classic period (1995-1996)

Summary: Period of consolidation and a generous advance in many fields. The planning gains up, the technique is more accurate and the product more fluid and well done. During the editing phase, audio dubbing had been already tried in order to add music along the credit titles, but from now on music would also play its narrative part. For the moment, this only applies to sequences in which the original audio is erased. The writing of screenplays increases and most scripts become movies, to the point that the period is a balanced and satisfactory alternation between impros and well-planned projects.

Modern period (1997-1999)

Summary: The last and most prolific period was boosted and conducted by a self-conscious will of professionalization, a process that had already begun but was now explicited into a collective manifest, characterized by serious mood and strong determination to the extent that the process became irreversible. Almost every production would be ambitious, time-costly and rich in planning. Screenwriting increased in amount and weight, though longer screenplays were put on the bottom below the shorter ones. Photography and illumination were now taken a better care of. Post-production perfected into an editing that reached the best possible flexibility between audio and video with the analog limitations. In the end, every short movie that resulted from this period, yet still being amateur work, was indeed very elaborated and became well appreciated between friends and acquaintances everywhere.

Epilogue (2006-2009)

Summary: Seven years after the breaking of the fellowship and its artistic production, the moment came to digitalize the tapes as it was finally affordable to manage the material with home equipment and no extra cost. Therefore, full editing could be made with Adobe Premiere (PC) and Final Cut (Mac), with possibilities beyond the nature of our material. Of course we cared not to overdo it. Anyway, our first priority was to edit whatever was pending. After that, improved re-editions and many spots were made, doing then the best we could. A website was also made and the material exploited until its meaning was exhausted. Finally, it was made sure that everyone involved had received their DVD copies along with some presents and the celebration period was called off.
